The Beginning of the Story

In the summer of 2015 the Center for Medical Progress captured headlines with the release of their exposé on the practice of fetal organ harvesting. Led by David Daleiden, this pro-life citizen journalist organization had gone undercover at abortion provider conferences and networked with Planned Parenthood and biotech executives, documenting their interactions with hidden cameras.

Their goal was to collect evidence of crimes, which prior research led them to believe were taking place. Their claims shocked the country: abortion clinics were profiting off the sales of fetal organs and body parts, and doctors were altering their procedures in order to obtain better specimens.

January 2025 Update

Out of the 8 standing felony accusations against David and his team — down from the original 15 charges — only one now remains! It will be reduced to a misdemeanor and expunged within a year. Learn more about the good news by clicking here.

Final Update: April 2026

After two months of delay, the case has finally been dismissed. With it being 10 years since Attorney General Kamala Harris launched her state investigation into David and his team, and 9 years since Xavier Becerra filed charges dragging them to court, we are so grateful to see all of this finally come to a close.
