You may remember back in 2016 when Kamala Harris raided the home of David Daleiden, the president of the Center for Medical Progress. The work of CMP exposed Harris’ allies at Planned Parenthood who were accepting illegal payments from “fetal tissue” procurement companies. To this day, her successors at the office of the Attorney General have not let up.
Friday the 17th marks the next hearing in The State of California vs David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt. The Attorney General is targeting these pro-life advocates for their bold and daring investigative work while letting the criminal activity of Planned Parenthood go unpunished.
This case, specifically, is over the allegedly criminal act of using hidden cameras in conference halls and restaurants to capture conversations with abortion industry executives and the leaders of companies that harvest fetal remains. It carries with it the penalty of a year in San Quentin state penitentiary for each count. If you would like to join us Friday November 17th to pack the court with pro-life support, please register!
Filming conversations that people in power don’t want disseminated is not illegal, especially when documenting a crime or recording in settings where other people can overhear what’s going on. This is the case for David and his investigators at CMP.
Since the very beginning, members of Pro-Life SF have been coming alongside the defendants and their lawyers to provide desperately needed moral support and encouragement. Without the local community coming out and surrounding them, it is a much harder ordeal for everyone involved. If you would like to be a part of this, please consider attending our gathering and packing the courtroom to be informed on the latest developments right as they happen!
