Meet The Team
Robert is a San Francisco native from the Richmond District. He studied at Lowell High, City College, and Notre Dame’s Vita Institute. Robert has been with Pro-Life SF since 2016. He previously worked at Aquarium of the Bay and has volunteered for Alpha Pregnancy Center. Recently, he has volunteered on the presidential campaign of pro-life democrat Terrisa Bukovinac to center victims of abortion in the public discourse.
Robert enjoys creating content to educate and inspire the public and highlighting the fact that people of all beliefs and no beliefs in particular — like himself — can be pro-life. When he’s not doing research, he engages in the visual arts creating original characters such as the political cartoon “OfGilda.”

Eric started his activism with Pro-Life SF at its first Planned Parenthood protest in 2017. Soon after, he was attending every San Francisco court hearing in the unjust prosecution against pro-life journalist David Daleiden. Inspired by David, after years in tech, Eric began a new career in journalism. While, he still has fun programming and building Android apps whenever he has the opportunity, Eric now runs an undercover journalism nonprofit, breaking national new stories and bringing justice for victims of sexual abuse.

John is a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area and graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Melanie is a Catholic, wife, mom, and proud Chicana from San Antonio, Texas. She earned her bachelors in Communication from the University of Texas at San Antonio Honors College with double minors in Spanish and Civic Engagement.
Melanie began pro-life advocacy by refounding and leading her university pro-life group. While in college, she studied abroad in Germany, served the houseless community at a Catholic Worker House, worked at a maternity home as a translator for immigrant teen moms, interned for a foster care youth success program, moved to DC to advocate for the confirmation of both Justice Kavanaugh and Barrett, and door knocked, testified, and lobbied in favor of pro-life first policies and politicians.
She has previously worked for Students for Life of America, for the San Antonio Coalition for Life as a weekly sidewalk intern, and for a pregnancy help clinic. Melanie received training in pro-life apologetics through Justice For All. She later joined the international pro-life fight by co-founding Pro-Life Global, where she has trained students and leaders in Uganda, Guatemala, Jamaica, Colombia, Bolivia, India, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania, and Sri Lanka. She has been featured in BBC, Vice, New York Times, and ABC Nightline.

Bay Area native Emma Craig has been a huge fan of PLSF since she discovered the organization in 2020. What attracted Emma to PLSF was their commitment to fighting the late-term abortion and fetal organ harvesting happening at UCSF. She has contributed as an organizer during several memorable weeks of action, the CVS pharmacy protests, and the street campaign in the city to fight against Prop O. Emma works in the bay area as a public high school art teacher. In her spare time she loves to read, roller skate on the waterfront and dance to regional Mexican music.

Kristin Turner joined the pro-life cause as an atheist. In 2020 she founded Take Feminism Back, was an outspoken leader within Young Pro-Life Democrats and Democrats for Life of America, and previously worked full time for the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising. During her time in jail for defending the unborn, she shared a cell with other Christians. It was through their wisdom, and the witness of the unborn children she was defending that she became Catholic.
Kristin is a musician, speaker, and has travelled over 17 states to train young anti-abortion activists. She currently serves as the DC Coordinator of Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, where she educates students, counsels at abortion centers, and defends the unborn wherever they are threatened
