The University of California, San Francisco, is a med school and research institution known across the country for their training programs and political advocacy in the area of abortion. They have also been engaging in horrific, unethical scientific experimentation for decades. Studies published by UCSF researchers reveal that laboratories receive ongoing supplies of aborted fetal remains — organs and body parts from healthy children up to 5 and a half months old (24 gestational weeks) — for use in their fetal tissue experiments. By partnering with on campus abortion facilities and suppliers like ABR, they are creating a demand for aborted remains. Dr. Eleanor Drey, the top abortionist at UCSF, was caught on camera talking about this, describing researchers “tripping over each other” inside her clinic.
Dr. Drey also acknowledged a fact illustrated by medical journal articles: feticidal injections ruin the quality of fetal tissue, rendering it useless to researchers. This means that UCSF dismembers fetuses alive in utero or attempts to induce stillbirths. We say "attempts" because there’s a 50% chance of live birth when labor induction abortions are done at late gestational stages. Dr. Drey herself has written that unintended live births can take place during both inductions and D&E appointments! There are many documented examples in our country of abortion survivors being killed and neglected behind closed doors, and the incentives for criminal activity here in our backyard are concerning.
University of California leaders, the Board of Regents, are calling on people to give one-minute public comments at their next virtual meeting — 3/17 and 3/18 from 8:30 to 9am. This is our chance to flood the phone lines and command the attention of not just the Regents but the media. Pro-Life San Francisco has 2 demands for the Regents, and we need you to back us up on this:
Launch an investigation into the fate of abortion survivors at UCSF
Require university labs to use ethical, alternative tissue sources and bring an end to their barbaric research practices
